Real Life has been a pain in the rear as of late, but I'm back, which means Sarah is too. She's ready to get in game and I'm anxious to coninue the development of her history and personality.

General Information
Name: Sarah Elizabeth Matthews
Nicknames: Batgirl, Dr. Bats (fondly by Val) otherwise she is just Sarah or Miss Matthews

Psychology
Intelligence: There are two sorts of intelligence: book smart and street wise, and any member of the Bat-family has to be both, and so Sarah follows through with her a math and science oriented mind, and a knowledge of how the city works and an idea on how to master it. Intelligence is something which Sarah prides herself in having in abundance.
Phobias/Fears: There are very few things that Sarah is afraid. She’s certainly not frightened of blood, not scared of death as she used to be and spiders and snakes are trivial. What Sarah is truly afraid of is failure.
Religious Beliefs: Sarah is not quite certain what her religious beliefs are…The girl trusts that there is a God that is supreme and that Jesus Christ was the savior, so perhaps she is Christian, but she also finds that the religions of the East sit well with her.
Intolerances/Annoyances: It takes a lot to annoy Sarah. She’s a very tolerant person, but like any person she has things she simply cannot stand. Bad-manners, particularly, irk the girl, also she is vehemently opposed to being treated like a child.
Quirks/Habits: Sarah is slightly OCD and being as such she is very schedule-oriented, liking to be in control perhaps because she has so little control in reality. Her bed-time routines can last anywhere from fifteen minutes to two hours as she checks locks. When she is nervous the girl wrings her hands and chews the inside of her cheek. Her most notable quirk though is that she likes to play with her hair when she’s bored.

Present Background
Occupation: Student of Medicine by day, Vigilante by night.
Education: Sarah graduated top of her class in High School and went on to University in Gotham, though she was offered a scholarship to Harvard (which has an excellent medical school), but other obligations kept the girl in her city. She’s five years into her eight years of medical training, and shows no sign of turning her back.
Major: Accident and Emergency Medicine (more than useful in her experiences)
Activities: Sarah is an extremely busy young woman. She has all manner of college courses to attend to, followed by many meditation, kick-boxing and other forms of martial arts, yoga. You name it-- And Sarah likely practices it.
Home: She rents an apartment, but really she never sees it. The majority of her waking hours are spent on campus, at the clinic, on the rooftops, in the bat-cave or at Wayne Manor.
Friends: Sarah is quite friendly and sociable, easy to like and hard to dislike, and so her friends are many in number. Likely though her closest friends are her teammates and colleagues.
Finances: Her mother left a trust-fund, and her college is paid for with student loans and scholarships. For the moment her financial situation seems quite average and good. She doesn’t live without, anyways.

Face & Complexion: Sarah has a kind face, with pale skin and a oval-shaped face. Her nose is slightly upturned and her lips are plump. She radiates with energy, both innocent and forbidding.
Build: Sarah’s body is well-crafted, a weapon after years of practice and yet it is not mannish at all. She is slender, but strong, with long legs and a shorter torso.
Defining Marks: In the line of duty even the doctor earns her fair share of battle wounds, but those are easily hid from the public beneath her clothes and if they are seen dismissed quite simply as accidents. There is nothing too distinguishable bodily about her, except perhaps her eyes, full of emotion, and able to convey so much without a word.
Dress Style: She dresses professionally, but comfortably during the day, but notably more feminine in her dressing style than her female partner, Valencia. Over all she presents herself as a lady with a refined, cultured taste. Her evening wear though…Black. Black as pitch. The emblem of the Bat worn with pride.
Manner of Speech: Sarah has a smooth soprano voice and speaks in a silky manner, elegant as if she has pondered every word for ages, thoughtful and meaningful. She has a sense of self-confidence in her tones, a soothing enough voice when times are rough and assurance is needed.
Manner of Movement: Years of Gymnastics and Ballet make the girl as graceful as a cat, and silent as the night when she wishes it, though this is presented mainly at nighttime, for in the day she is rather clumsy, always in a rush.

Past Relationships: Sarah has left a string of broken hearts behind her from fourth grade when she had her first steady boyfriend (which then was little more than sitting together at lunch and walking to school, holding hands) to the present day. Most notable would be her former fiancé though, Michael Greevey. They had dated steadily for two years, almost before he grew unable to tolerate her constant absences, accusing her of infidelity and calling the whole thing to a close.

Strangely enough, Sarah did not particularly care.
Present Relationships: None romantic. Sarah flirts here and there but for now her primary concern is her career and her friends. Once things settle down…But then, do things ever settle down for Batgirl?
